JAMMU, Dec 12: Senior leader Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Indresh Kumar today inaugurated a new hall of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Dashmesh Nagar near here in presence of prominent citizens, political leaders and social activists.
Kumar, who was the chief guest on the occasion in his speech, highlighted the role of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh which is in the service of nation for decades together now. He said Sangh is wedded to national cause and it’s activists never hesitate in taking a front whenever the national unity and integrity has been challenged by the detractors of the country.
He stressed on imbibing the spirit of Indian culture and ethos among the children and urged them to participate in Sangh activities for nation building. Sangh is a patriotic organization which is committed to Akhand Bharat. All the problems faced in Sub Continent today will be solved after goal of Akhand Bharat is realized, he added.
He urged the students that besides education they should also discharge their duties towards the society and health.
Addressing the function BJP State general secretary (Org), Ashok Kaul said that the Indian culture in real sense is traced in these schools which link its students to the roots. He said only that society survives which does not go astray from its culture and which does not forget its traditions.
Ch Vikram Randahwa, MLC also spoke on the occasion. Randhawa, who has adopted the school for its upliftment said he will render all assistance and help in promoting the educations standard in this institute further.
Ram Lal Sharma, vice president Bharatiya Shiksha Samiti which runs the school also spoke on the occasion. The patron of Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SDS), Jagdish Dogra and social activist Abhay Pargal were also present on the occasion. The children of the school presented a colourful cultural programme on the occasion and mesmerized the audience.
Indresh Kumar who was on two days tour of Jammu addressed a seminar organized by Hind Baloch Forum at Hotel Kranti here yesterday. The RSS leader took a dig at  former Chief Minister and president National Conference (NC,  Dr Farooq Abdullah for calling PoK as part of Pakistan. He said the nation needs to frame a strict law to deal with such people.
He said Indian Parliament through joint resolution of 1994 had resolved to liberate the PoK which is under the illegal occupation of Pakistan.
He also made a scathing attack on Pakistan for committing atrocities on the people of Baluchistan.
