JAMMU, Nov 11: Jammu’s biggest travel & tourism exhibition, Indian Travel Mart (ITM)-Jammu concluded here today.
This year, Travel & Tourism Exhibition, India Travel Mart ITM-JAMMU received overwhelming response from Jammuites and other visitors from all over Jammu and Kashmir, Katra, Patnitop, Kashmir, Srinagar, Ladakh and other nearby cities. This year various tour organizers, travel agents, corporate, business houses, shoppers, frequent travelers, etc visited in large numbers with their families and booked holiday and tour packages for various tourist destinations across India.

The three day exhibition showcased various tourist destinations at ITM Jammu. The event was supported by J&K Tourism. The theme for the exhibition was ‘See Jammu Kashmir in a new light’. A large number of tour organizers, travel agents and tour operators from different parts of the State were invited for the B2B sessions held at the exhibition. Members of all travel, trade and hotel associations actively participated in the B2B meet and assured their further support for the same.
On the occasion, Travel Promotion Awards were presented at ITM Jammu. J&K bagged Best Stall Award for ‘All Seasons Destination’ of the world, Rajasthan Tourism got Best Stall Award for Decoration while Jharkhand Tourism was given Best Stall Award for ‘Promotion of Pilgrimage & Rural Tourism’. Best Stall Award for Marketing, Tourist Information & Literature went to Gujarat Tourism and Cox & Kings was presented Best Award for promoting Outbound Tourism Packages.
The event being organized by ICM Group brings its most awaited and prominent travel and tourism exhibition to Jammu to enable the city inhabitants and people to choose packages for holidays, business trips, family vacations, honeymoon destinations, and adventure sports and eco tourism places.
Residents of Jammu and Kashmir from Katra, Patnitop, Kashmir, Srinagar, Ladakh and other nearby cities came in large number and got attracted by discounted packages for their winter holidays/vacations and weekend getaways for domestic and outbound destinations.
