JAMMU, Apr 15: A cultural programme was organized by the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu today to celebrate Baisakhi.
In the function conducted during the lunch break by the Cultural Committee of the Association, “Kavi Sammelan” and Songs were presented by the lawyers. Advocates Bhagat Singh, Bhupinder Singh Bhargav, HC Jalmeria, Teza Singh, V K Sharma, Anoop Parihar and S K Puri presented poems.
Songs were presented by Advocates Jagjit Rai, Sheikh Shakeel Ahmed, V K Sharma and Sanjay Raina.
Appreciating the performing lawyers, the President of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu Advocate Abhinav Sharma said that such activities would be a regular feature as these activities work as stress buster and development of talent.
Vice President Pranav Kohli, General Secretary A P Singh, Joint Secretary Depesh Singh Pawar and Treasurer Rahul Sharma, YLA President Daljeet Singh Manhas and YLA Vice President Pardeep Majotra besides many senior and young lawyers were present in the function.
