JAMMU, Feb 10: S. Harjeet Singh, a resident of Bharakh village in Pouni, Reasi, progressive farmer of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has been honoured with the ‘Best Innovator Award’ during the national conference on “Women Empowerment through Agro-entrepreneurship for Livelihood Security” organized by (SIDAVES) in collaboration with SKUAST-J and SKUAST-K recently at SKUAST-J campus.
It is worthwhile to mention here that S. Harjeet Singh has established a fruit orchard at Bharakh village which is irrigated by the underground water method with the least wastage of water.
