JAMMU, Mar 13: All Jammu and Kashmir Guru Ravi Dass Sabha in its general body meeting held under the presidentship of Piran Ditta, constituted Election Board of the Sabha unanimously.
Gopal Dass Dogra was made chairman of Election Board with Surinder Kumar, Ramesh Hans, Kewal Krishan and Darshan Lal Basson as members.
General House also condemned the attitude of previous Sabha executive for not handing over the accounts of Sabha to the president.
Sabha unanimously passed a resolution that Vijay Lochan (ex-president), Sham Lal Basson (ex-general secretary) and S L Basson (ex-cashier) are declared defaulter of the Sabha. Hence, they cannot participate in the upcoming election of the Sabha.
It was also resolved and passed unanimously that present Sabha will continue its duties till the new body is elected.
President Piran Ditta while concluding appealed the Biradari to come forward and taking membership of Sabha and do cast their vote for betterment of Sabha.
