SRINAGAR, Dec 24: Residents of Gurez sub-division in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district today said the exchange of State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is not functioning properly from last five months.
They said that due to technical fault the telecom services in the area have been severely affected but the concerned authorities are in “deep slumber” and are not taking any step to rectify the fault.
“Despite repeated requests the concerned officials are not deputing any technical team so that the services are made smooth at the earliest,” they said and sought intervention of the senior officials into the matter.
