JAMMU Mar 27: With the aim to streamline the working of the various Aadhaar Services, the Government today notified the fee structure which will be charged by the service providers for providing various Aadhaar Services to the people at the Enrollment Centers.
According to an order issued by the Government, there will be no fee for Aadhaar Generation, Mandatory Biometric update and BFD/Status Query.
The fee for Biometric update and Demographic update has been set as Rs 25 each and fee for Aadhaar Search using e-KYC/Find Aadhaar/any other tool and colour out A4 sheet has been set as Rs 20 while for Aadhaar search using e-KYC, Find Aadhaar number and any other tool, B/W print out on A4 sheet has been set as Rs 10.
According to the fresh order, the Deputy Commissioners/ Tehsildars/Executive Officers will ensure that these rates are duly publicized for the awareness of the general public and will also ensure that bonafide residents are not overcharged by the service providers.
The ECIL has been asked to ensure strict compliance of the order through its service providers and will also get these rates displayed prominently in all the enrollment centers for the information of the general public.
