JAMMU, Mar 30: Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar said that the Government is contemplating to frame a transfer policy in the Education sector for Ladakh region to address the issues relating to posting tenures of non locals in the region.
The Minister said this while replying to a question of Haji Ananyat Ali in the Legislative Council today.
He said against 161 sanctioned posts of lecturers in 14 Higher Secondary Schools of Kargil district 78 lecturers are in position and 83 are lying vacant.
Mr Naeem said these posts shall be filled up during the coming academic session. He said that these posts are being filled up on academic arrangement for the academic session by the Chief Education Officer.
