JAMMU, Sept 27: A young girl today made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance in Pargwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the girl identified as Seema (30) daughter of Mangal Singh, resident of Mainta Patian (Pargwal), today allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence.
He said that the family members shifted the girl to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where her condition was stated to be stable when the last reports came in. The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
