GDC students hold protest, demand re-checking of papers

KISHTWAR, Mar 29: The students of Government Degree College today came to streets and blocked the main highway for hours together.
The students were demanding re-checking of all the papers of BA and BSc Part-1 (Semester 1st) and admission of re-appear and unsuccessful students in next semester. They also demanded roll back of enhanced re-evaluation fee.
The students were raising slogans against Jammu University and alleged that the varsity has adopted anti-student attitude and is jeopardizing the future of students.
As per reports, out of 862 students of Kishtwar College only around 36 have been declared passed in the recently declared result of Ist semester which sparked the protest.
