Ganga launches development works

SAMBA, July 14: The Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today inaugurated developmental works at Bari Brahmana worth Rs 31 lakh, completed under Grant in Aid Scheme. He inaugurated Lane and Deep drain work at ward number 1 and Deep drain work at Ward Number 2.
On the occasion, the Minister asked officials to launch special cleanliness drives and ensure that sewerage lines are not choked in the Municipal areas as it can cause many health problems. He also asked executing agencies to maintain the prescribed work standards.
Later, the Minister also met women deputations and gave a patient hearing to their demands and concerns. They apprised the Minister on the various developmental issues of the area. The Minister assured them that timely action will be taken on their genuine demands.
