JAMMU, Apr 27: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga today inaugurated Health Sub-Centre of Family Welfare Department at Birpur constructed by Public Works Department (R&B) at a cost of Rs 59 lakh.
The Minister said that Government has paid focused attention to upgrade existing health infrastructure in every part of the State including this area. He assured that he will take up the demand for early opening of a Primary Health Centre in the area with the concerned authorities.
The locals also put forth their demands including ambulance for health sub centre, upgradation of roads, improved power and drinking water supply.
Minister gave them patient hearing and assured that their genuine demands would be addressed as early as possible.
