JAMMU, Sept 1: Sri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Samaj Sevek and People Welfare Samiti, (PWS) Gandhi Nagar has demanded immediate suspension of present working committee and urged for fresh election of the temple management.
Addressing a press conference, S P Sapolia, convener, Sri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Samaj Sevek and People Welfare Samiti has demanded for fresh election and framing of new elected body.
While briefing the press about the recent development of affair of temple Sapolia said that the present trust has taken up activities such as white washing of the temple premises, construction of pathways and providing additional lighting on the external walls etc. He added that it is merely an eye wash in order to misled the general public.
Sanjay Jerath highlighted about dornitories and free meals (lungers) for devotees coming from other states and added that present management has not made any arrangement for stay or food for the devotees.
Sudarshan Bali demanded for display of balance sheet and Income expenditure statement of past few years to public.
The members have equivocally said that their agitation will continue till fresh election are held in free and fair manner.
