Four gamblers arrested with stake money

JAMMU, Jan 9: Four gamblers were arrested today with stake money by Miran Sahib police.
After getting specific information regarding gambling in Tinday Kalan area, a police party of police station Miran Sahib conducted raided and apprehended four gamblers along with stake money of Rs 5390 and three packs of playing cards.
The arrested gamblers were identified as Ajay Kumar son of Darshan Lal, resident of Ban Sultan, Sandeep Singh son of Daljeet Singh, resident of Basti Simbal Camp, Surjeet Singh son of Kartar Singh of Tali Morh, Miran Sahib and Jagan Nath son of Ravi Kumar of Simbal Morh.
In this connection, a case under specific provisions of Gambling Act was registered at police station Miran Sahib. The arrest and recovery was made by SHO, police station Miran Sahib, Inspector Ajit Singh, ASI Yougal Kishore, I/C BPP Kullian under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura, Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters, Jammu, RC Kotwal.
