Some forces working overtime to make Jammu their colony: Zorawar

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 14: Chairman of the Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today urged upon all pro-Jammu forces to jointly fight those vested elements, which are hell bent to make Jammu as their colony with the brazen connivance of some power hungry politicians of this region.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating office of Jammu Dogra Warriors-a group of youth raising pro-Jammu issues, here at Pacca Danga this morning, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that Jammu region is passing through a very crucial juncture of the history because those at the helm of the affairs are least concerned about fulfilling wishes and aspirations of the people of this region.
Hoping that activists of Jammu Dogra Warriors under the leadership of its chairman Varun Magotra, would mobilize youth against anti-Jammu policies of the successive regimes, Zorawar Singh said that all pro-Jammu forces must coordinate with each other at this point of time.
Pointing towards recent decision of the State Government to sanction ex-gratia relief worth Rs 5 lakh and  Government jobs for those who were involved in agitational terrorism (stone pelting) in Kashmir valley, Zorawar  said that it was very dangerous decision,  which is aimed at demoralizing security forces and giving premium to those who are involved in anti-national activities. He observed that it was a big boost for those who have launched a war against Indian State and security forces in Kashmir valley.
Varun Magotra,  in his brief address,  assured Team Jammu of supporting all pro-Jammu issues especially its crusade against drug menace. He also said, “Premium to ‘agitational terrorists’ would be proved as turning point in the history of Jammu and Kashmir because this decision is going to boost morale of terrorism in Kashmir and would encourage more and more youth to attack security forces and the Army in Valley”. “Giving compensation to the family of those who were killed while fighting with the security forces would demoralize forces in the Valley,” Magotra pointed out.
