FMPHWs Welfare Association projects demands

JAMMU, Apr 10: Jammu and Kashmir Female Multipurpose Health Workers (FMPHWs) Welfare Association demanded 50 per cent promotion quote of health educator post to FMPHWs.
Addressing a press conference, Neelam Kumar, President of the Association demanded issuance of DPC orders of all the categories immediately, creation of post of LHVs in new PHCs, upgradation of the post of FMPHWs to Senior, Supervisor and Head Female Multipurpose Workers and amendment of SRO 20, which is lying pending in Administrative Department since long.

She urged the Government and higher authorities of the Health Department to redress the issues on priority basis so that the health services could be taken to the mark of perfection.
On behalf of her association, she extended full support to the scheduled program given by JKMEF on April 12.
Among others present were Sureya Akhtar, Mamta Sahrma, Sapna Gupta, Anita Bhagat, Gyatri Devi, Savita, Raman, Nirmal Ramandeep Kour, Kamla Devi, Jyoti Bala, Suman, Surekha, Usha, Soma and Uma.
