Five injured in mishaps

Srinagar, May 17: Police today said five persons were injured in different road accidents across Valley.
A police spokesman said a Tempo Traveler bearing registration number JK12-8802 driven by Afsar Malik hit and injured a pedestrian namely Mudasir Ahmad Lone along National Highway in Gagangeer village of Ganderbal district.
The injured was shifted to PHC Kullan for treatment, wherefrom he was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.
He said a Santro car bearing registration number JK05D-1649 and a Bus bearing registration number JK02V-8097 collided at Zadwa in Ajas area of Bandipora district, resulting in injuries to two persons namely Danish Reyaz Sheikh and Durdana. Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Bandipora for treatment, wherefrom they were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.
The spokesman said a Santro car bearing registration number JK03C-3817 driven by Fayaz Ahmad Mir hit and injured a pedestrian namely Ulfat Jan BEd College Brakpora at Janglat-Mandi in Anantnag district. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
The spokesman said a bus bearing registration number JK04-2144 driven by Parvaiz Ahmad Wani met with an accident at Nutnoosa in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, resulting in injuries to the driver. “The injured was shifted to Kupwara Hospital for treatment.
