KATHUA, Aug 23: Kathua Campus, University of Jammu today organized a felicitation ceremony for the students of the Campus, who have excelled in academics and qualified various competitive examinations, including NET/ SET.
Professor Rajni Kant, Rector Kathua Campus, University of Jammu, was chief guest for the occasion. He stressed upon the idea that such events should be routine affair at the Campus to encourage the students to perform more and more. He insisted that motivation is very important factor for the performance as all of us expect a pat on back for our exceptional work. Also, he explained that although the performers should always be rewarded, but at the same time the next in merit are also of equal importance. As all fingers are not equal, all members of the society are important, he explained.
The Rector exhorted the students to be good citizens and fulfill their duties with honesty. “We should note down our good deeds that creates a natural divine bank generating divine wealth that pays in long run.
Dr Jyoti Sharma, Incharge Head, MBA, presented the welcome address while Amit Sharma, Assistant Professor, MCA, presented a formal vote of thanks.
The session was coordinated by Twinkle and Priyanka, the students of the MCA programme. All the faculty members of the MBA and MCA including Sourabh Shastri, Pankaj Khajuria, Vinay, Sarabjot, Ajay, Riti Prakash, Arun Singh and Amardeep Sharma were also present during the session.
