KATHUA, July 11: A farmer has been electrocuted to death while working in his fields in village Kharkda, falling under the jurisdiction of Kathua police station, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Yash Pal Singh, son of Puran Singh, a resident of village Kharkda.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
Kathua police had taken cognizance in this regard.
