JAMMU, Mar 13: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented Vijay Malla’s progressive nukkad “Jo Chup Hai Kasoorvar Hai” under its Monday Theatre series at Dhanvantri Park, Railway Road, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
As the nukkad opens, a well educated family living peacefully in their locality is threatened by some anti social elements to oblige them by paying security tax so that they are safe under their patronage and security.
Family members are astonished and shocked to know such kind of tax by the goons who are always armed with weapon and under intoxication. Head of the family, Manhor Dass is stunned with such threats. His daughter, Seema, told him that she is not going to succumb before them and will teach them a good lesson. She starts a campaign against these social elements through electronic media and asks everybody to help them and rescue them from these anti-social elements.
Seema manages to convey his resentment to police department and warns other people to resist their moves otherwise they have to be their slaves forever. People realize their mistakes and join Seema in her campaign. Meanwhile, police swings into action and arrest all those elements and arranges a permanent police post for safety of the people. Seema is honoured by police officers for her bravery.
Actors who acted in the play were Ripu Daman Parihar, Anuroop Pathania, Qurat-ul-Ain, Ashwani Kumar, Munish Kerni, Gopal Singh, Mohit, Prabal, Parul Sharma, Raju Mad, Rahul Kerni and Vijay Malla.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Anuroop Pathania.
