JAMMU, Mar 27: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented it’s 240th Monday series Nukkad and “World Theatre Day” celebrations with Vijay Malla’s new play “Naitik Kranti” at Gole Market Park, Gandhi Nagar here.
The story of this Nukkad is based on definition of freedom for our young generation, which is not aware of the actual meaning of freedom.
An old man wandering from one place to another with the mission for young generation which is ignorant about actual meaning of freedom.
This old man asks the meaning of freedom from a group of young students. They say freedom means only right to vote and right to speech.
The old man is shocked by their reply and convinces them that this is not freedom where you can vote to elect your leader, may be a criminal or a corrupt but you like him and vote him.
Again this is not freedom were you can abuse and disgrace anybody because you dislike him. You have right of speech not for abusing others without any reasons.
He says freedom never means you will kill your brother for the sake of money or property. Freedom never says that you will look down upon any human being who is handicapped and poor.
Freedom means to respect elders, to respect law of land, to condemn illegal activities by bad elements of the society.
He asks them how many of you have given sacrifice for freedom of our country. Now that freedom you have got it, preserve it by abiding the law and have respect for judiciary.
It is only this young generation wo can create a Transformation and implement the things right way.
Actors who performed were Kanta Sharma, Ehsaan-ul-haq,Qurat-ul-ain, Raju Mad, Ashok Sharma, Anuroop Pathania, Prabel Sharma and Vijay Malla.
