JAMMU, Dec 17: A deputation of PHE Clerical Employees’ Association today met Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Sham Lal Choudhary and projected their demands.
During the meeting, the deputation which was led by association president, Munish Sharma and general secretary, Kuldeep Singh Chib, raised various issues and demands of the employees.
The main demands which were projected in the meeting include clearance of DPC of Ministerial staff, creation of posts of Sectional Officer/Head Assistant and other staff for newly created divisions/circles (Mech) in the department, shifting of field/tech staff (Draftsman), who are working in the place of Ministerial staff and reorganization of Ministerial cadre.
Besides these, other demands figured in the meeting were providing of working culture/atmosphere in every office, removal of engagement of retired employees from the department and representation to the Government regarding pay anomalies/disparity of clerical staff.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation members and assured them that their genuine demands shall be redressed without any delay.
