UDHAMPUR, Apr 1: Warning Pakistan that it will never succeed in its vicious designs, Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh held the neighboring country responsible for today’s terrorist attack on Army in Bemina Srinagar.
Talking to media persons here, today the Deputy Chief Minister said that the attack is aimed at sabotaging the election process in the Valley and also an act of terrorists to show their presence on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the State tomorrow.
He however said India will not be cowed down by such misadventures of Pakistan as our Army is capable enough to meet any eventuality and challenge as they have shown this in past too.
He said the separatists who are puppets of Pakistan are playing in the hands of Pak Government. But they have been now exposed before the people as they are playing with the career of innocent children of Kashmir by instigating them to stone pelting while sending their own children in reputed educational institutions out side the Valley and country. Besides, some of them have managed the top Government posts for their wards at the cost of common and innocent people of State, Dr Singh added.
He asked why separatists don’t send their own children to join stone pelters and why the poor and innocent children from Valley are being instigated by them. But people are now mature enough and they have seen through the game plan of separatists who have been totally exposed for their double standards.
Dr Nirmal Singh exuded confidence that the separatists will get a big blow and their election boycott call will flop as people in large numbers will come out to cast their votes in the by elections to two seats of Lok Sabha in Kashmir Valley going to polls in the next week of this month. “I am confident that people of Kashmir will do it and they should defy the boycott call to elect their representatives and exercise their right to vote”, he added.
Earlier the Deputy Chief Minister held a review meeting with senior civil and police officers for the arrangements of tomorrow’s rally. The meeting among others was attended by Divisional Commissioner Jammu and IG Jammu. He also visited the venue of rally and reviewed the arrangements there too.
He also convened a meeting of the BJP leaders at Udhampur to review the preparations for rally. The meeting was among others attended by party president Sat Sharma, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and party vice president, Pramodh Kapahi.
