DSEJ to organize various progs to inculcate spirit of patriotism in students

JAMMU, July 14: Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) in collaboration with Directorate of Sainik Welfare and J&K Cultural Academy will organize various programmes in Jammu division to inculcate the spirit of patriotism in them besides sensitizing them about sacrifices of uniform forces towards the motherland.
This was disclosed by Rajeev Kumar Khajuria, Personnel Officer, DSEJ while addressing a press conference here today along with Brigadier Harcharan Singh, Director Sainik Welfare and Cultural officer of the Academy.
He further stated that students from different schools of Jammu Division will be motivated to visit the families of martyrs to make them realize that they are not alone and the whole nation stands by them, besides get the first hand knowledge about their problems and issues and for its projections before the competent authorities for its mitigation.
Khajuria further stated that the department is organizing series of patriotic group song and essay competitions in 12000 schools of Jammu Division in which more than 700000 students will be involved in order to highlight the role of our armed forces, the sacrifices of Jawans and the role of civil society for building a health nation.
