SRINAGAR, Sept 4: Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered charas from his possession in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said that a naka was laid at Bidhard Garmanpora in Kokernag and during the checking, a person was intercepted. He identified the person as Ghulam Muhammad Wagay and said that 1300 grams of charas was also recovered from his possession.
The police spokesman said that a case has been registered in this regard and accused is in custody.
