SRINAGAR, Mar 3: Police arrested a drug peddler in Dooru area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district today and recovered more than 100 kilograms of fukki.
A Police spokesman said that while continuing its drive against drugs, Anantnag police arrested a drug peddler with more than 100 Kilograms of fukki.
“Acting on specific information, a naka was laid in Dooru area and during the naka checking, a truck was intercepted in which 103 kilograms of fukki packed in five bags was recovered. Police seized the vehicle and arrested the driver who was identified as Mohammad Javid Khatana, a resident of Reasi,” he said, adding “a case FIR Number 13/18 under Section 8/15 NDPS act was registered and investigation is going on.”
