JAMMU, Oct 20: Drivers and Cleaners Union (SHTO) Jammu Province today elected its office bearers in a meeting held here in the office complex of Director Health Services under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president, Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF).
The meeting unanimously elected Anoop Singh as president of the Union and Ravinder Singh (Rozy) as secretary general, who thereafter nominated other office bearers of the union which are Vijay Sharma (senior-vice president), Parfulat Singh (vice-president), Vijay Kumar (office secretary), Vijay Singh (advisor), Akram Khan (publicity secretary) and Vijay Bali (spokesperson).
Pritpal Singh, Gurudev Singh, Baldev, Vikram Salotra and Tejinder Singh were nominated as executive members of the union while Block presidents are Rajinder Singh (Dansal), Daulat Ram (RS Pura), Ashiq Hussain (Bishnah), Yashkaran Singh (Sohanjana), Jung Bahadur (Akhnoor), Raman Kumar (Pallanwala), Kamal Kumar (Bhalwal) and Sartaj Singh (Marh).
Meanwhile, the newly elected executive body decided to affiliate the Union with Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation headed by Sushil Sudan, who also agreed to extend full support to the Union.
