JAMMU, Aug 5: Chinore police arrested the driver of Income Tax (IT) Commissioner’s official vehicle for outraging modesty of a woman.
As per police sources, a complaint has been lodged by a woman with police post Chinore stating that two persons namely Dileep Singh (driver of the official vehicle of IT Commissioner, J&K), son of Balwadar Singh and Dileep Kumar, son of Des Raj, both residents of Keran gave lift to her in their car and later outraged her modesty.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 234/17 under Section 354 RPC has been registered at Domana police station and Dileep Singh has been arrested. The vehicle has also been seized.
Hunt is going on to nab the other accused.
