JAMMU Nov 14: Dr Banarsi Lal, Incharge, Senior Scientist-cum-Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi, of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J), was awarded for his research paper in the national symposium.
The paper, entitled as “Impact of plants protection activities in increasing the income of the farmers in hilly district Reasi of J&K” was presented in the national symposium and annual meet of Indian Phytopathological Society (North Zone) on “Ecologically Sustainable Plants Diseases Management under Diversified Farming Situation” held at SKUAST-J. The award was presented by the VC of SKUAST-J Pradeep Kumar Sharma.
The paper was co-authored by Dr Shahid Ahamad, Deputy Director Research, SKUAST-J and Dr Vikas Tandon, Sr Scientist-cum-Head, KVK, R S Pura, Jammu.
