JAMMU, Aug 6: Displaced Pandit Youth Forum (DPYF) held a demonstration at Jagti town today highlighting their demands.
The protesters demanded de-reservation of reserved posts of teachers, releasing of pending selection list of receptionists in Tourism Department, clearing the recommendations of withheld candidates, updation of selection lists and waiting lists, releasing of pending appointment orders of selected candidates who have already submitted the documents at Director School Education of their respective districts.
The protesters said that in 2012 a fresh independent advertisement notification 1443 posts were referred to J&K Service Selection Board in different departments under PM’s Special Employment package for the Kashmiri migrant youth. Out of them 623posts were advertised for the post of teachers for all districts of Kashmir division. In August 2014 the posts were shortlisted and interviews were held in March 2015. The selection process was as such completed but the candidates were later astonished when they came to know that out of 623 notified posts in advertisement notification 221 posts have been reserved.
They demanded that these posts be de-reserved as early as possible so that the candidates can get justice.
