SAMBA, Mar 17: Dogra Educational Trust organized an Alumni Meet to strengthen ties between former students of the College and the students inter se and thereby inculcate the feeling of brotherhood among them.
The trust invited various persons belonging to different professions. Hemanshu Mahajan, Prosecuting Officer PTTI Vijaypur was one of the invitees who was honoured by the Secretary DET. Tanvir Ahmed Khatana, PO Samba and Asif Chowdhary, PO Kathua were also felicitated by the Trust.
While Speaking on the occasion, Secretary DET, Samar Dev Singh Charak highlighted the contributory role of Hemanshu Mahajan as a Law Student who maintained all the qualities of head and heart maintained by his father, Sunil Kumar Gupta, the then SSP J&K Police.
The College Administration commended the statesmanship of Mahajan, who served as a beacon light for all the law students who would be remembered for all time to come.
Prominent amongst others present on the occasion were VP Mangotra, Mubharakh Singh Jasrotia, Kanwar Sammar Dev Singh Charak and Kanwar Ghambeer Dev Singh Charak.
