JAMMU, Jan 27: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu today convened a high level meeting at Jammu University to review the arrangements being made for hosting 101st Indian Science Congress.
Senior officers of administration and Jammu University were present on the occasion.
Interacting with the participants, the Divisional Commissioner enquired about the status of arrangements being made by different departments. Various issues related to preparations for the prestigious event were discussed. The Divisional Commissioner was briefed about various arrangements being made by the respective departments.
The Divisional Commis-sioner stressed for close coordination between departments to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the Indian Science Congress. He asserted that all arrangements should be put in place well before time and issues if any settled at once.
