JAMMU, Jan 24: Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Danish Rana, IGP Jammu, called on Governor N.N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today to brief him about the arrangements for the Republic Day Celebrations.
They also informed him about the obtaining law and order situation.
Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University also called on Governor.
Prof. Jain informed the Governor about the to-date status of the activities underway to implement infrastructural development schemes and to strengthen and enlarge the academic / faculty strength.
The Governor stressed the benefit of all ongoing programmes being annually renewed to introduce the required changes in the course content to meet the arising demands and challenges. The Governor and VC also discussed the work so far done by the Academic Audit Committee.
