RAMBAN, Dec 1: District Development Commissioner Ramban, Tariq Hussain Ganai convened meeting with representatives of construction agencies working on prestigious four laning project of NH-1A to discuss confronting issues.
The meeting was attended by, Project Director NHAI, ACR, Vevaik Puri, SDM Banihal, XEn PDD Hassan Mohammad, PD NHAI M T Attarde, XEn TLMD, XEn STD, Tehsildars and representatives of the companies, Navayuga, Ramky, HCC, GAMMON India, NHAI besides other officers.
Taking into account importance of prestigious project, DDC assured the companies engaged on job that requisite step shall be take to remove bottlenecks affecting project implementation. He discussed all the issues and passed on directions to the concerned for timely redressal of the same.
DDC directed the construction companies to fulfill their social responsibilities so that a rapport between public and companies is established and working atmosphere is made congenial for ensuring smooth progress of construction works.
NHAI was asked to take up necessary protection works and shifting of transmission line’s towers on priority basis so that works are not affected. Some issues were also resolved on the spot.
