JAMMU, Apr 1: Crossed Swords Division organised a wreath laying ceremony at Akhnoor on the occasion of its 52nd Raising Day, today.
A solemn ceremony was held at Akhnoor to commemorate this momentous occasion and to pay homage to the gallant martyrs of the Division.
Wreaths were laid at the War Memorial by General Officer Commanding, Crossed Swords Division, Station Commander, Subedar Major and a young soldier.
The Division organized a number of events to recall its glorious history and maintained high traditions. General Officer Commanding in his message to the troops exhorted all ranks to rededicate themselves to the service of the Nation.
