JAMMU, May 6: About 20 kanals of standing wheat crop, 200 bundles of wheat crop, some heaps of wheat husk and six water pumps gutted in a devastated fire caused by short circuit, in remote border village Pangthour of district samba.
Later fire tenders from Samba Fire Station reached the spot and douse the flames.
Those whose suffered due to fire included Bhoomi Singh, Bachitar Ram, Bhajan Singh, Karamjeet, Des Raj and Sansar singh.
