JAMMU, Jan 22: Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu, S C Katal has rejected the bail application of one Sourab Singh, who was arrested by the police in attempt to rape with a three years old girl.
After hearing CPO Sanjay Kohli for the State, CJM observed , “the offence under investigation is against the society at large and grave in nature. The character and antecedents of the accused are yet to be ascertained in this case and the apprehension that the accused will threat the complainant and her witnesses cannot be completely ruled out”.
“The allegations against the accused person have direction impact upon the social security of the people”, the court said while dismissing the bail application.
