JAMMU, July 10: A police cop has been assaulted by a man in Sarwal area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bakshi Nagar police station.
As per police sources, a cop namely Dinesh Singh had gone to deliver a court docket, when a person identified as Avinash Razdan, son of Mohan Lal Razdan of Subash Nagar assaulted the cop and snatched the docket and cash.
A case under Section 353 and 383 RPC has been registered against Avinash Razdan at Bakshi Nagar police station and investigation started.
