JAMMU, Aug 1: Magam Bangil Sabha has expressed concern over the framing of incorrect voter lists of migrants by the authorities.
In a statement issued here, today the Sabha president Raj Nath Raina said that wrong insertions have been made in voter lists of Kashmiri Pandits by the officials and it appears that the same has been done deliberately.
Mr Raina said that sir name of Dhar has been written as Dar while the other sir names of the community have also been changed and it appears the attempt is being made deliberately by some vested elements.
The meeting demanded that the voter lists of migrants on the basis of old records be framed by Relief Organization after proper verification from the concerned migrants, otherwise the community will get an impression that incorrect insertions are made in the voter lists of migrants under a game plan.
The Sabha warned that in case the voter lists are not corrected soon and the actual names and sir names not inserted in them, the Sabha in consultation with other organizations of the community will be forced to launch agitation.
