JAMMU, Mar 14: Expre-ssing concern over the power curtailments in the town and water scarcity problem faced by the people during last over one week, the civil society of Kishtwar has urged the authorities to restore the water supply and better the power supply in the area so that the people are relieved of their problems.
The Civil Society member Kishtwar and former secretary J&K Youth Congress, Shamsher Singh Bhandari said that people are facing many hardships during last over one week due to power failure and water scarcity. He also demanded installation of flood lights in Kishtwar from Hasti More to Kuleed Chowk and made an appeal to NHPC authorities in this regard. Besides, he demanded construction of parking slots from Bus Stand to Kuleed Chowk by district administration and Degree College for Dachan.
