CM visits Martyr Vasanthakumar’s house

KALPETTA, Feb 20:
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has visited the house of the CRPF Martyr V V Vasanthakumar, who was killed in the Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday last, at Thrikaipatta in Lakkidi near here on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister promised all help and assistance to the family including providing a house for the martyr’s family.
The State Government had earlier announced a financial help of 25 lakh to the martyr’s family and a job for the brave Jawan’s wife.
The martyr’s wife Sheena expressed her deep gratitude for the help extended by the Government and thanked the Chief Minister for offering her a permanent job as an assistant in the Government Veterinary University in Lakkidi.
Minister for Ports & Museums Kadannapally Ramachandran also accompanied the Chief Minister to the martyr’s house.(UNI)
