CM sets up Women Employees Grievances Cell

JAMMU, Apr 29: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has ordered setting  up of Women Employees Grievances  Cell  in the Civil Secretariat, headed by Commissioner/ Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Sarita Chouhan.
A GAD spokesman said that this Cell has been constituted on the directions of the Chief Minister to take the cognizance of  the complaints of  the women employees working in various Government Departments and Public Sector Undertakings. The women employees can forward their complaints regarding harassment, victimization, exploitation of any kind, by their officers or other colleagues  to the Women Grievances Cell.
While senior IAS officer, Sarita Chouhan is the Chairperson of the Grievances Cell, the two other women KAS officer members  are, Ms Omera Shafat, Joint Director Tourism Department  and Ms Kiran Raina, Under Secretary to The Government, Relief and Rehabilitation Department.
