JAMMU, Nov 2: A meeting of Channi Himmat Residents Association (CHRA) was held under the chairmanship of its President Advocate VK Grover in which the members expressed anguish over Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) for not maintaining cleanliness in their locality.
While speaking, Grover said that the situation has become alarming due to the increasing cases of dengue which have been recently reported particularly from areas in and around Channi Himmat Housing Colony.
He urged the Speaker and MLA Gandhi Nagar Kavinder Gupta to intervene in the matter and issue appropriate directions to the authorities concerned to act on war footing for eradication of menace.
