Chhattisgarh resident arrested with ganja

JAMMU, Sept 27: Talab Tillo police arrested a man hailing from Chhattisgarh along with large quantity of ganja.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a team from Talab Tillo Police Post apprehended a man hailing from Chattisgarh along with 9 kilograms of ganja.
The arrested person has been identified as Ramesh Kumar, son of Karma, a resident of Chattisgarh, at present Talab Tillo.
A case under FIR Number 134/17 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Nowabad Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by Incharge Talab Tillo Police Post SI Sumit Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Neeraj Bhagat, SDPO West Pranav Mahajan and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
