SRINAGAR, Nov 21: Prominent Gujjar leader from Poonch and senior Congressman Ch. Shamsher Haqla joined National Conference alongwith his large number of supporters here today in presence of Working President, National Conference, Omar Abdullah.
General Secretary, National Conference, Ali Mohammad Sagar and Provincial President Jammu, Devender Singh Rana were present on the occasion.
Welcoming the Gujjar leader into the party fold, Omar Abdullah expressed the hope that Ch. Haqla and his supporters would strengthen National Conference and work for holistic development of Poonch district and economic welfare of the people.
