Cardamom futures decline on profit booking

NEW DELHI, Nov 30: Cardamom prices dropped by Rs 15.90 to Rs 997 per kg in futures market today as speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid easing demand at spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in far-month January declined by Rs 15.90, or 1.57 per cent, to Rs 997 per kg in a business turnover of 52 lots.
The spice for delivery in December was trading down by Rs 12.50, or 1.33 per cent, to Rs 930 per kg, with a trading volume of 17 lots.
Traders said participants offloaded positions amid sluggish demand at spot market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing regions. (PTI)
