Campus placement drive held at Govt Polytechnic Jammu

JAMMU, Apr 23: A campus placement drive was conducted at Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk Jammu by Krishna Maruti Group, Gurgaon (Haryana) for Diploma OET position for their plant at Gurgaon, Palwal, Gujrat, Chennai and Pune.
A total number of 135 students of three year diploma in Mechanical, Electrical and Automobile Engineering Pass out as well as final semester students of various Polytechnics of Jammu division appeared in the campus placement drive.
Vijay Yadav, Corporate IR Head Metal Division and Naresh Raina, Plant Head from Krishna Maruti Group, conducted pre- placement talks with the students, which was followed by General Aptitude Test and personal Interview. A total of 22 pass out diploma students were selected for appointment and 40 students of final semester were also selected whose confirmation will be issued after final semester result.
The selected candidates were directed to join by 28-04-2018 at Gurgaon and on joining OETs will be given one month structured induction training to cover the functional aspect and final year students will join after the declaration of 6th semester result.
All the selected candidates will be paid Rs 15,000/- per month CTC as trainee OET in the first year and completion of every year of continued service may attract annual increment based on annual performance. All OET will be on company rolls and eligible for all the benefits as per company policy. The placement drive was organized under the Supervision of Rajesh Khajuria, Training and Placement Officers, Er P K Angral, Er Deepak Gupta and Er Ashok Verma.
Er Arun Bangotra, Principal of the Polytechnic, advised the students to make full use of their technical skills for employability to various organizations.
