POONCH, Sept 29: The police arrested a 15-year-old boy, student of class 10th , for committing sexual assault on 5-year-old girl child at Surankote today.
Police said that Juned Hussain Shah (15), son of Mazar Hussain Shah, resident of Pamrote, at present near Dak Bungalow Surankote town, lured the minor girl and took her to his room in the afternoon and committed rape on her. He left behind the girl bleeding profusely and unconscious and escaped in panic. The neighbours and family members shifted the girl to hospital.
The police naka party later nabbed the accused from BG when he was escaping towards Rajouri in Tata Mobile vehicle. A case FIR No. 177/ 2016 under Section 376 RPC has been registered against him.
