Bovines smuggling bids foiled, 19 cattle rescued

JAMMU, Feb 2: Miran Sahib police foiled bovines smuggling bids and rescued 19 cattle.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Miran Sahib police station laid a naka at Kullian and intercepted a Mahindra load carrier.
During checking, police rescued 7 cattle from the vehicle, while the accused driver managed to escape from the spot taking benefit of the darkness.
Meanwhile, a team from Miran Sahib police station during checking on Miran Sahib-Chatha road, intercepted a truck.
12 bovine animals were rescued from the truck during checking, while the driver fled away from the spot.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Miran Sahib police station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused drivers.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Pawan Kumar foiled the bovines smuggling bids under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
