DODA, Apr 14: Karara police rescued two bovine animals and arrested two persons.
As per police spokesman, a team from Karara Police Post rescued two bovine animals and arrested two smugglers during checking at Thelela area.
The accused have been identified as Manzoor Ahmed, son of Mangata Naik and Firdous Ahmed, son of Wali Mohammad, both residents of Mathodi, Tehsil Malla, District Doda.
A case under FIR Number 23/17 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Police Station Thathri and investigation started.
Police team led by ASI Mohammad Sharif made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
